Anchor Bay Entertainment distributes feature films, quality children’s entertainment, original fitness programming, TV series, documentaries, anime and other filmed entertainment on Blu-ray™ and DVD formats. It is the exclusive distributor in the U.S. of the theatrical titles from Overture Films.

Anchor Bay Films was launched in December 2008.  It is unique in that it offers the creative community a fully integrated distribution capability and an international solution extending beyond the U.S.  Anchor Bay Films is on the ground providing quality distribution with operations in the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, as well as distribution capabilities in other key territories. The company focuses on a platform release strategy for its films with an eye toward maximizing their potential across all ancillary distribution platforms.  In its first eighteen months, Anchor Bay Films had quickly acquired over 40 titles.  Recent acquisitions include The Irishman starring Ray Stevenson, Christopher Walken, Val Kilmer and Vincent D’Onofrio, the remake of the 1970 cult classic And Soon the Darkness and the much anticipated remake of the 1978 cult classic I Spit on Your Grave.
